England fast pitcher Tymal Mills will no longer play in the T20 World Cup after a scan Tuesday night revealed the extent of the right thigh strain he suffered during the game against Sri Lanka.

Mills won seven wickets at 15 in the tournament, although he was comfortably the most expensive bowler in England, going eight over.

He will be replaced on the squad by Surrey left point guard Reece Topley, who was already in the United Arab Emirates as a roaming reserve.
