After escaping from a slaughterhouse, a herd of cows led sheriff’s deputies on a chase through a city in southeastern Los Angeles County on Tuesday evening, according to reports.
Around 8:30 p.m. PT, at least 34 cows were observed stampeding down streets and over yards in Pico Rivera. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department advised residents to stay away from the area.
According to FOX 11 in Los Angeles, one of the cows charged a guy, who was then brought to the hospital. According to KABC-TV in Los Angeles, the cow was later shot and killed by an officer.
