Courtney Stodden defends Pink she called out YouTuber Piper Rockelle's parents for 'exploiting' her

Courtney Stodden defended the comments of singer Pink in an Instagram post on Tuesday in which she criticized the parents of popular YouTuber Piper Rockelle.

The 27-year-old reality star wrote that kids like Piper may have trouble distinguishing “attention they get online from predatory behavior.”

Pink, 41, took Rockelle’s parents to account on Sunday after the 14-year-old posted photos of herself in a bikini taken by her mother.

Courtney’s post featured a backlit photo of themselves highlighting their makeup-free face.

The social media star, who came out as non-binary earlier this year and uses she/she pronouns, wore a gray tank top and had their blonde locks bobbed while wearing a set of AirPods.

They defended Pink while explaining that kids around Rockelle’s age may not be mature enough to realize they were being sexualized.

It’s hard for kids to separate the attention they get online from predatory behavior from adults,” Courtney wrote.

“It is our responsibility as a society to stand up and protect our children as much as possible from falling victim to this cycle of digital grooming. As adults we can see what they cannot do.’

Courtney didn’t mention Rockelle or Pink in the text of their caption, but they made it clear who they were referring to with the hashtags “#piperrockelle” and “#pink,” while also tagging the singer.

Dazzling: Courtney married actor Dough Hutchison in 2011, when they were just 16 and he 50. They later came to believe that he cared for them during their marriage

Stodden is best known as the “teenage bride” after they married Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison in 2011, who was 50 at the time, when they were just 16.

The reality star was often presented in hyper-sexualized outfits despite being underage, and they faced a torrent of online abuse, most notably from Chrissy Teigen urging them to take a “dirty nap,” slang for dying.

But over time, Stodden began to see himself as a victim of Hutchison and their parents’ lax care.

In an interview in May with The everyday beastthey claimed their divorce from Hutchison, which was finalized in March 2020, was delayed because they were still being “groomed.”

“It took me a long time to understand what ‘grooming’ even meant, because if you had asked me what grooming meant when I married Doug, I would have said, ‘Take your dog to the groomer?’ I didn’t know what it meant,’ they explained.

They went on to explain that it was difficult to live on their own after Hutchison moved to Michigan because they hadn’t even gotten things like a driver’s license while married.

“I was over the relationship and wanted to move on, but when he left, I was terrified of being alone.”

Pink initially inspired Courtney’s comments when she accused Rockelle’s parents of exploiting her in a tweet from Sunday.

How many kids like Piper Rockelle are exploited by their parents? And at what point will the rest of us say…”this isn’t okay for a 13-year-old to pose in a bikini while her MOM takes the picture?!?!” the singer wrote.

But Piper, who recently celebrated her 14th birthday and has more than eight million subscribers on YouTube, insists her mother isn’t forcing her, just encouraging her to follow her dreams.

“The first thing I want everyone to know is that my mom won’t let me do anything. On the contrary, I’m a kid who had a dream and my mom is amazing enough to help me make it come true,” the YouTuber said. TMZ.

“I don’t think P!nk has ever seen any of my YouTube videos because if she did she would see it’s just my friends and I having fun and behaving ourselves. The content we create is the kind of thing that anyone can watch.”

“I know there are children who are being abused and that’s a real problem, but I’m not one of them,” she said.

Speak with TodayPiper pointed out that Pink was also 14 when she joined the all-female group Basic Instinct.

The singer posted a tribute to her father last week before removing it, leaving fans wondering what was wrong.

She later re-uploaded the post the next day with two adorable throwbacks of herself and her dad with the caption, “Til forever.”
