The first thing that strikes you about the Corsair monitor is its design. The panel is quite thin and the bracket is made of cast aluminum. Interestingly, it has a mounting point at the top with a 1/4-inch thread to add a camera, light, or microphone on top of the monitor itself.

The switch to a 144Hz monitor, told by someone who has lived on a 60Hz monitor their whole life

The monitor also has a cable guide on the back, allows to tilt the screen from -5º to 20º, adjust the height (100mm) and can be hung or mounted on an arm thanks to the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting point.

It also has several built-in ports, namely two HDMI 2.0 ports (too bad it doesn’t have an HDMI 2.1 port to squeeze out next-gen consoles), a DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.1 Type-C ports and two USB 3.1 Type-A ports.

Moving on to the screen itself, the Corsair Xeneon 32QHD165 incorporates a 32-inch IPS LED panel with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) and 165 Hz refresh rate (1 ms). It comes complete with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync certification, which are adaptive sync technologies for gaming.

The panel uses QuantumDot technology and reproduces 100% of the sRGB color space and 98% of the DCI-P3 space. On the other hand, it should be noted that it is HDR400 compatible and that it has 178º of angle of vision. Obviously, it integrates with Corsair iCUE and Elgato Stream Deck, so settings can be controlled from this software and this device.
