Corsair M65 RGB Ultra: Corsair’s new gaming mouse that we can tilt to recharge

Corsair has launched a new and peculiar gaming mouse, the Corsair M65 RGB Ultra which, this time, comes in two versions: wired and wireless. The M65 RGB Ultra is a mouse intended for FPS (shooting games) and they come with some interesting new features, the most prominent being Sensor Fusion technology.

Both the Corsair M65 RGB Ultra and the M65 RGB Ultra Wireless can be purchased from now. The price of the model with USB cable is 79.99 euros, while the wireless model amounts to 129.99 euros. Once the presentations are made, let’s see everything they offer.

The new M65 is a most striking mouse. It has several customizable buttons, including a red button on the left side to shoot, and its weight is configurable. The box includes six small weights that we can remove to leave the weight at 95 grams or add to raise it up to 115 grams.

The sensor is the Corsair Marksman of 26,000 PPP, although it can be customized. The main buttons are QuickStrike (to reduce the pressure when pressing) and the switches are OMRON (optical). In addition, the mouse features Corsair Axon technology from 8.000 Hz to improve the speed of transmission of movements and clicks to the PC.

That’s on the wired model, of course. The wireless version (that uses Bluetooth) uses Slipstream Wireless (2,000 Hz polling) and, according to Corsair, it has a response time of 0.9 milliseconds. It should be noted that the wireless model has enough battery power to, according to Corsair, offer up to 120 hours of autonomy.

But beyond that, the most striking thing is Sensor Fusion. In short, this technology uses the gyroscope and the six-axis accelerometer to detect when we lift the mouse. That way, the mouse will not move the cursor when we lift it to adjust the position during a shootout.

Additionally, the gyroscope can be programmed through Corsair iCue software to perform tilt gestures. For example, we can program the mouse to reload the weapon by tilting it to the right, changing weapons by tilting it up, etc. It is something quite peculiar and that is not seen in all gaming mice.
