TEXAS – “The Delta Force.” “Hero and the Terror.” “Missing in action.” “Invasion U.S.A.” Action star and martial artist Chuck Norris’ films will never be mistaken for the kid’s fare, but that’s exactly what he’s up to in Texas this week.

Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott announced on Wednesday that the honorary Texan will be the next guest on “Stars of Texas Storytime”.

Norris will read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by author Eric Carle at 10:00 on Thursday.

You can find the lecture at Gov. Greg Abbott’s Facebook page.

Other special guest stars of Stars of Texas Storytime include Kendra Scott, Charlotte Jones Anderson, Colt McCoy, George Strait and Ben Crenshaw.

Norris, the star of the long-running ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’, was named an honorary title of the Texans in 2017 by the Texas Senate. Norris was born in Oklahoma but has lived northwest of Houston for years.
