Borussia Dortmund are reportedly lining up for Jude Bellingham’s younger brother, Jobe, 16, from the city of Birmingham.

Jude, 18, moved from St Andrews to Dortmund two years ago, turning down Manchester United to seal a £ 30 million trade to the Bundesliga side.

Since then, the England international has gone from strength to strength and was part of Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad for last summer’s Euro 2020 campaign.

And according Sun, Germans are increasingly interested in signing Jude’s younger brother, Jobe, who is also making a name for himself at the West Midlands club.

Jobe nearly broke his brother’s record of becoming the youngest player on the Championship team earlier this season, but he was an unused substitute in the EFL Cup playoffs against Colchester and Fulham.

He has yet to make his first appearance for Lee Bowyer’s side, but Dortmund is understood to have had an interest in Jobe since he was 14, when the club first opened talks about Jude’s availability.

The brothers are represented by their father, Mark, a former striker and non-League police officer, and the report states that the Bellingham family want Jobe to stay in Birmingham for the time being.

Jude is enjoying an excellent campaign with Dortmund this season, where manager Marco Rose has described his midfielder as “almost perfect”.

The 18-year-old scored a sensational solo effort against Arminia on Saturday, and Dortmund hope to keep in touch with Bayern Munich in the title race despite recovering from Erling Haaland’s absence.

The Norwegian has suffered a hip flexor injury and Rose confirmed that the shooter will be out for ‘a few weeks’.
