Oliver Tree went to blink-182 for an amazing new adaptation of his song ‘Let Me Down’.

Let Me Down is from the rapper comedian’s debut album Ugly is beautiful that came out earlier this month. It captured the charts in the US and debuted as the No. 1 alternative album on iTunes and Apple Music.

Tree’s partnership with blink-182 is a round of victory for the album’s success. And if his recent tweets have anything to offer, it’s a dream come true for the 27-year-old. “MY CHILDREN HEROES FLASH 182 GOT MY SONG” LET ME LET IT “IT’S TOMORROW OUT,” he wrote.

Not only have the heroes of his childhood reworked his song, but they have done it in an amazing way.

All the blink-182 features are there: Mark Hoppus’ signature bass line floats everywhere and he also adds vocals to the track. Travis Barker’s drumming also creates a grin-inducing appearance, and Matt Skiba’s shredding is the icing on the cake.

blink-182 has been busy collaborating with other artists lately. Earlier this month, Barker revealed that the band has a song with late emo rapper Juice WRLD on the way.

“There is a blink [and] Juice collaboration that has not yet been released, but is coming soon, ”he said at the time. “I think it will come out on a Blink project and Andrew Watt’s solo project.”

Travis Barker called the collaboration ‘great’ and added that he is very happy that ‘more Juice music will be released’.

Barker and the band have a great interest in rap and hip hop this year. Last year, he started a rap label called DTA Records. Having already produced a single with Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, he recently revealed that he has “a lot of records” he “sits on” including collaborations with Run The Jewels.
