A spicy take on Mexico’s favorite street food has made Costco’s customers mouth water as their “huge” DIY taco kit explodes in popularity.
The $20 meal “easily” feeds a family of four, according to Chuffed Diners, and is ready super quickly for time-pressed households.
But many warn that the chipotle chicken, which comes in the package, can be a little too spicy for kids.

“It’s fine for us, not over the top, but a bit much for the kids,” said one mom after posting a photo of the meal.
One man said it was too spicy for his family, but he didn’t mind.
“It’s dinner, lunch, and dinner tomorrow for me,” he boasted.
Others agreed, saying that the heat rating should be displayed on the packaging.
“They’re hot, that’s an important point people should point out,” said one mother.
The mother who started the conversation said she simply heated the chicken in a pan and added a cup of chicken stock to “make it a little spicy.”

She also added some cream to her kids’ portions to dull the spice.
She then toasted the tortillas and added some of her own guacamole, which wasn’t in the pack.
“There’s so much food here,” she warned, and others agreed.
“We found that out the hard way, bought two of the platters and had way too much food,” said one woman.
The kit comes with 12 tortillas, according to one customer, who said they are “in the back with the cooked chicken” rather than in the refrigerator section.
