Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk (left) says the fight should be finished by the end of the year.
“We plan to meet with Eddie Hearn in the coming weeks to kick off the rematch activities,” Usyk promoter Krassyuk said. Sky sports.
‘We have three options under consideration: UK, Ukraine and the Middle East.
“Hopefully, by the end of 2021, we will be in a position to make the final decision.”
Usyk, who is undefeated in 19 pro fights, is also not impatient for an undisputed fight with fellow undefeated heavyweight Tyson Fury, with Krassyuk saying, ‘Not at all. We were 100 percent aware of the rematch clause, we gave our word and signed it on paper.
‘There is no room for frustration, as things are going as planned.
Tyson has to prove his position in the championship by going through the mandatory. But this is up to him and his team. On our side, we remain focused on the rematch as the number one option. ”

Meanwhile, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said talkSPORT Joshua’s contingent would like the rematch to take place again in the UK.
‘A kind of late spring is more realistic. We will speak with Alex Krassyuk and the team to define a potential venue for that fight.
‘I would like to go back to the UK. There are other options. We’ve had approaches to staging that fight around the world, but last time it was a massive show and obviously this time it’s a much bigger fight. ‘
