All the games that Sony has presented in its Playstation Showcase for Playstation 5 and Playstation 4

Sony’s promise that there would be no talk of hardware has been fulfilled: not the slightest mention of virtual reality or anything related to consoles beyond a display of titles, many of them exclusive, determined to demonstrate the technical muscle of the Japanese console. These are all the games that Sony have presented for Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 in their Showcase.

Knights of the Old Republic – Remake

Lucasfilm Games opens the game in style, with the new version of one of the most respected and remembered games of all that has inspired ‘Star Wars’. We only have a kinematics, but it is enough to get our long teeth, in a launch exclusive for PS5.

Project EVE

‘Bayonetta’ meets ‘The Last of Us’ en a game that promises intricate choreography and a future world ravaged by gargantuan creatures full of tentacles. Its great appeal: it comes from Korea, which wants to place itself on the international map of video game development with this hack’n slash with streaks of ‘NieR: Automata’ and ‘Devil May Cry’, among others.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

On March 25, 2022, this Gearbox project arrives that combines heavy weaponry from ‘Borderlands’ with a heroic fantasy setting. All seasoned with humor and the peculiar graphic finish with touches cartoon of the franchise, although this is not a DLC, but a full-fledged and independent adventure.

Forspoken

Square Enix’s open world game keeps showing a spectacular graphic work designed to fully exploit the capacity of Playstation 5. With inevitable nods to the visual style of Harry Potter and his conception of magic, this ambitious title tells the story of a young woman who enters the beautiful and dangerous world of Athia. We will have it in spring 2022.

Alan Wake Remake

More than a retreaded version of the Remedy classic, perhaps the best unofficial Stephen King adaptation ever seen in a video game, the most attractive thing for Playstation users is that the game will finally arrive on their console. Disturbing mechanics with lights and shadows, a very careful story and just around the corner: it arrives in October.

GTA V

Refined mechanics, instant character transitions, and more generally a much more colorful and fluid game is what Rockstar promises for the PS5 version of ‘GTA V’ and ‘GTA Online’. We recognize that when we have seen the GTA logo appear on the screen, it almost gives us a jamacuco, but anyway: less it gives a stone.

Ghostwire Tokyo

The craziest game of the night had already been announced previously and we still do not have very clear what to expect with this mixture of survival horror, Japanese wackiness and melee action in first person. He directs Ikumi Nakamura, a disciple of the mythical Shinki Mikami, with whom he has already worked on games like ‘The Evil Within’. This disconcerting title goes along the same lines of tension and colorful extravagance.

Guardians of the Galaxy

We are not yet far behind that in this Marvel game no one looks like the characters it is inspired by, but the truth is that, aesthetic details aside, this title looks great. We will see if with the promised combat system very careful Square Enix the thorn of the disappointing ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ is removed.

Bloodhunt

The announcement of this adaptation of the role-playing game ‘Vampire: The Masquerade’ comes a couple of days after the Early Access opening on PC. Vampires against vampires in a clash of beasts set in Prague and that for the moment takes the form of battle royale free to play no microtransactions to throw the game out of balance. It promises blood and fangs, which is not bad at all.

Deathloop

Next week we have this quirky available ‘Groundhog Day ‘with retro aesthetic hitmen, in a crazy game that gives the player freedom so you can face each game as you wish, from absolute stealth to genocidal frenzy. And when they kill you, start over, because that’s how the loops in the time.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

‘Uncharted 4’ and ‘Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’ will be the remastered games that include this enhanced version of the adventures of Nathan Drake. The games that closed the sensational saga of adventure, exploration and platforms, with next-gen graphics and all the Naughty Dog know-how.

The PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S and X become the fastest-selling consoles in the history of each company

Wolverine

The best has remained for the end. Insomniac, responsible for the Spider-man games have presented a bombshell in the form of a very short cinematic for a game starring Marvel’s most famous mutant, and that we hope it recovers the twilight tone of ‘Logan’. No date, it will possibly be exclusive to Playstation 5.

Spider-Man 2

Again without too many details but with spectacular cinematics, Insomniac has presented the sequel to its Crawler games, with the presence of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, and a unique villain: Venom. Will there be four-handed cooperative play? We will have to wait until 2023 to find out.

Gran Turismo 7

Have Date for the new installment of the iconic Poliphony Digital driving simulator: March 4, 2022. Sony has presented a few images in-game of one of his most anticipated titles, and the style of the first four installments will be recovered, with an emphasis on competition and role-playing elements.

God of War – Ragnarok

They have also not missed the appointment Kratos and Atreus, who return to the Sony console in a sequel that, now yes, has an official name: ‘God of War: Ragnarok’. We have seen familiar faces, like Freya and Thor, who will be the main enemies of our favorite slayer of gods. An impressive trailer that unfortunately leaves the release date up in the air.
