Alfredo Morelos scored the winning goal and his 100th goal for the Rangers as he led Steven Gerrard’s team to a 2-1 away win at St Mirren.
Although the Colombian had a turbulent moment at Ibrox, he had to be the one to turn from close range to put the Rangers ahead, just over a minute after they were behind in the game.
St Mirren provided a strong opening shock when Connor Ronan shot home and gave them the lead after just four minutes.

The Rangers fought back and earned a penalty in the 42nd minute, Ianis Hagi was brought down in the area. Kemar Roofe coldly took the penalty.
Less than a minute later there was an uproar from the visiting end as Morelos poached and sent the Rangers ahead. The Colombian walked away and launched into Rangers fans as he celebrated reaching the century mark.
A calmer second half saw Rangers as the team most likely to score and Morelos with more than one presentable chance to score 101 goals, but their shot was enough for all three points.
But Kemar Roofe (# 25) tied the Rangers from the penalty spot just before the break.
