Here’s how to get the most out of Black Friday:
A big switchJoel Gibson says it’s wise to follow this three-pronged strategy to avoid being overwhelmed by Black Friday and buying things you don’t need:
1. Don’t surf. There’s just too much to take in. List what you need for Christmas or around the house (e.g. Airfryer) and search specifically for those items. If there’s something you buy regularly that you can keep and keep, look for that too.
2. Use Google Shopping to quickly compare prices and do a general search for Black Friday deals on your items (eg Google ‘airfryer Black Friday’).
3. Once you’ve found a winning deal, if possible withdraw it through a cashback website like Shopback to get some extra discount, or through another rewards program to maximize the kickback.
