The 36-year-old pointed at the couple and said, ‘This one, right here!’
A court official came up and told the two that they had to leave the arena.
James made an angry gesture, insisting that the pair be expelled.
The man seemed amused by the debacle, and the woman he was with taunted James with a crying face.
Pacers fans laughed at being evicted from the arena, although it was unclear what they said.
An official asked the two of them to leave, and the surprised-looking couple stood up and left their seats, and the girl made a mocking cry and rubbed her eyes like a baby.
It was unclear what they had said or done to anger James.
The sports superstar said after the game that obscene language and gestures would not be tolerated. TMZ reported.
“I would never tell a fan and a fan should never tell a player,” he said.
The Lakers won the game in overtime 124-116.
