It was unclear what they had said or done to anger James.

The sports superstar said after the game that obscene language and gestures would not be tolerated. TMZ reported.

“I would never tell a fan and a fan should never tell a player,” he said.

The Lakers won the game in overtime 124-116.

It was James’ first game after his one-game suspension, won by intentionally elbowing an opponent in the face.

James missed Tuesday’s game against the New York Knicks after he was suspended for leaving Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart with a bloody nose.

Fans and experts did not hesitate to call for James’ suspension, which would be his first since his senior year of high school in 2003, when he incorrectly accepted two replica jerseys valued at $ 845 in violation of Ohio state fan rules.
