90-day fiancé star Paul Staehle claimed in a series of Instagram Story videos that his wife, Karine Martins, goes missing with their son Pierre, after police were called to the couple.
The 37-year-old TLC star shared a video wearing a mask in hospital on Friday, July 31, and was waiting for test results. “Karine left with Pierre and I don’t know where they are,” he told his followers, adding that his neighbors called him to let him know that she was in a car with their 16-month-old son, without a car seat. He revealed that he had sent a message to the Brazilian resident’s mother, who was “concerned about her safety” and “wanted to get her,” but Martins’ phone was turned off.
Subsequently, Staehle posted that he had tested positive for a sexually transmitted infection and was being treated, insisting that he “never cheated on my wife.”
Two hours later, he claimed that 23-year-old Martins had filed a “complete restraining order” against him. “I am not allowed to be with her or my son at all, within 150 meters of them,” he said. He shared photos of official paperwork claiming that a weapon was involved and that he was “armed and dangerous.”
In her written statement, Martins claimed that her husband raped her and that he is holding her green card and documents and that she should “not leave the house.” She claimed he threatened to take their son “if I ever leave.”
“I’m terrified he’ll hurt me or hurt my son because I ran [sic] away from him and I’m even afraid to go back to Brazil now because he can go to Brazil and hurt us, “she wrote, adding that she” doesn’t want to contact him. “
On Saturday, August 1, Staehle, who appeared in season 1 of the TLC spinoff 90 days fiancé: before the 90 days with Martins in 2017 and 90-day fiancé: the other way in 2019 he returned to social media to reveal that he was “really upset now” because he had been visited by the sheriff’s department. “They’re looking for Karine,” he said. “Karine is missing, they don’t know where she stands.”
“I am very afraid of her and the child, like the sheriff who was here,” he added. “If anyone sees her, please contact the Jefferson County Sheriff.”
The couple, who welcomed their son in March 2019 after two miscarriages, had an altercation on Thursday, July 30, which culminated in Martins calling the police.
According to The BlastStaehle streamed the authorities’ visit live and he could hear it said, “I have no idea why you were called. I don’t know what I did. He insisted that he had not hit his wife, but said there were cameras all over his house and footage showed Martins pushing him down on Wednesday, July 29.
He explained that he saw “her talking to a Brazilian lawyer about child support and divorce” and that Karine was upset when he asked her about it.
Staehle then told the officer about an alleged investigation into his wife’s child protection service. (She mentioned the investigation in her paperwork about the protective order, claiming that her husband told CPS that she was “always drunk, aggressive, and insulting.”)
During Instagram Live, a friend of Martins’ agents said she wanted to go to a shelter.
On November 11, Staehle claimed in an Instagram Story post that Martins filed for divorce. The next day, Us weekly reported that the pair had given up after tying the knot in 2017, with Martins telling U.S“Yes, I’m looking for a lawyer now.”
Staehle addressed their split on his Instagram story at the time, saying that he would “ probably go out into the Amazon trying to convince her to live with Pierre in [the] USA with or without me. He added, “I just want the best possible life for my son.”
