Ross began: ‘So this one is called Folie A Deux – translated that means ‘foolishness of two’ and it refers to a mental illness shared by two people in close association.

So of course fans are now thinking, ‘Does this mean Gaga will be taking on the role of the Joker’s girlfriend Harley Quinn?’ Not confirmed yet, but it could be.

“We hear that this is also going to be a musical. A teaser has just been released – here’s Gaga, here’s the music, here’s cheek to cheek and of course here’s the song we associate with her and the great and absolutely brilliant late Tony Bennett.”

Although Tony was invited to the ceremony, his son Danny told Variety that he would not attend due to his health and ongoing struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

“Tony is beyond excited, especially at the young age of 95, to be recognized once again along with his musical collaborator and close friend Lady Gaga by the Recording Academy for their album Love for Sale,” Danny began in his statement to the outlet. .

“While the producers invited both Tony and Gaga to perform on Sunday’s broadcast of the Grammys, it’s a shame he couldn’t accept it due to his ongoing struggle with Alzheimer’s disease,” Danny continued.

“It was decided it would be appropriate for Lady Gaga to act on her own to represent both of them,” explains Tony’s son, 68.

He concluded: ‘There is no doubt that she will deliver an impeccable performance of Love for Sale, Tony’s latest album. He will cheer her on as he watches from his home in New York City.”

The pair released Love for Sale on October 1, 2021 as a follow-up to their 2014 Grammy-winning album Cheek to Cheek.
